Nobility in the Mundane

I long to accomplish a great and noble task,
but it is my chief duty
to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble.

Umm….I’m cleaning my refrigerators today…among other things…

  1. I’m just beginning to arise again…. so that means cleaning the fridge, the house, getting wedding/reception items back to where they belong, undecorating the house….  I think some lovely music ought to help.  Oh, and the school work….

  2. I try to do one thing every day that I don’t want to do.  It seems starting is half the battle. I don’t think anyone can do a BIG great and noble task without first learning to do the small ones graciously. Good music does help, as Dana suggested!
