Portland Head by Edward Hopper (1882-1967)
This print is hanging over my file cabinets in the garage. When I visited my brother in Maine, we went to the Portland Head Light. One of the little out buildings was a gift shop. I saw this on the wall and had. to. have. one. Of course, they were out, “but I could purchase one at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.” Disappointed, I looked around. About ten minutes later the clerk found a tube stuck in the corner and, voila!, it was the print!
Well mom, if you HAD to then it would have been all right to go to boston to get one. (jk)

Carol, the BLUES are so beautiful! These are breathtaking.
I love pictures of lighthouses. Beautiful! Btw, I just ordered a book, “Art For God’s Sake” by Philip Ryken. Fellow blogger Dan is reading it so I checked it out and was impressed by the reviews. I bet you would like it too. So that one is going on that summer reading list that I still haven’t written out or shared!
