And the Lord of hosts
will prepare a lavish banquet
for all peoples on this mountain;
A banquet of aged wine,
choice pieces of marrow,

A Living Pencil 
Such comforting verses….and yes, on this particular Sunday, I do find myself thinking of those dear departed ones….and meeting them again.

This is very comforting on so many different levels, to me. This past Easter week, I heard the same song twice with a phrase that keeps repeating itself in my mind for some reason – “He gives the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for.” I just find it so interesting that the words “healing” and “grace” are put together like this! It means several different things to me, all good. Thanks for this poem (?) – hymn (?).
It’s from Isaiah 25. Curt read it aloud yesterday morning and said, “If I were preaching, this would be my text today.”
I’m sure the title of the blog goes with the verses and not the picture, right? It’s just that the picture comes up so much faster than the verses on my computer, right?
